Wilbur H. Peterson

Wilbur H. Peterson, 99, of Grants Pass died Dec. 20, 2007, at Three Rivers Community Hospital. No services are planned at this time. He was born June 22, 1908, in Hollywood, Calif., to Clause and Alice Peterson. He worked in heavy construction from 1953 until his retirement in 1974. During that time, he worked for several large companies, including C.W. McGrath Oceanic Contractors and Brown & Root Overseas Inc. On March 7, 1970, in California, he married Helen "Dollie" MacDonald, who survives. After he retired in 1974, they moved to Grants Pass from Southern California. He enjoyed hiking in the mountains and fast cars. In addition to his wife, survivors include several nieces and a nephew.
