Virginia Anne "Virgi" Ivy

Virginia Anne Ivy, 85, of Grants Pass died April 1, 2011, at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. A celebration of life will be held Saturday from 11:00 am - 3:00 PM, at the family home 1646 Lonnon Road, Grants Pass, 97527. She was born On March 18, 1926 in Greenville, Pennsylvania to Claude and Lida Gosnell. On March 16, 1945 in Yuma, Arizona she married Henry Jackson Ivy he preceded her in death on February 14, 2010. In the fall of 1954 they moved to Grants Pass from Upland, California. During her life she worked as a bookkeeper for Gates Furniture and JC Penny. She loved fishing, camping with family and friends, traveling around the United States, south for the winter and going to the coast. She was a member of the Woman's Credit League. Survivors include her son Dale Ivy of Grants Pass; sister Nancey Meycock of Paradise, California; two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
