Vera Gamez

Vera Katherine Gamez, 66 of Gold Hill passed away Monday, October 3, 2011 at her home. Funeral Services were held Monday, 11:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Bill Donaldson of Rogue River Foursquare Church officiating. Interment will follow at Hawthorne Memorial Gardens. She was born on February 20, 1945 in Grants Pass to Joseph and Sybil Paquette. In the late 70's she moved to Seattle where she spent 30 years until moving back to Southern Oregon in 2003. On June 1, 1995 she married Elias Gamez in Seattle, Washington. She loved flowers, butterflies and animals. She also enjoyed her church family at Rogue River Foursquare Church and helping those around her in need. In addition to her husband five children Katherine of Grants Pass, Lori of Olympia, WA, Steven of Seattle, WA, Diana of Seattle, WA and Susanna of Rogue River survive her. 16 Grandchildren and 19 Great grandchildren
