Thomas Robert Gullock was born on June 2, 1939 to George and Ila Gullock in Glendale, California. He met his future wife, Joanna, in the 7th grade. They married in 1958, after attending El Monte High School, and had three daughters. Tom visited Grants Pass often with his parents and brother when he was in his early teens, staying at the Weasku Inn. Tom later moved his family to Grants Pass in 1973.
Tom worked as a truck driver, hauling logs and equipment. He also worked in the lumber industry at several local mills. Tom was an avid fisherman and hunter. In later years, he and his wife spent time RVing and going to casinos together. He also attended St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Grants Pass.
Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Joanna, and is survived by his daughters, Teri (Grant) Gloor, Tammy (Vance) Price, and Georgia (Steve) Bushnell; his brother, Emmett Boyd; six grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
He passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 29, 2024.
A private memorial gathering will be held at a future date.
