Thomas George Boulanger, 72, of Grants Pass died Thursday, July 16, 2009, at his home. His cremains will be scattered at sea in Fort Bragg, Calif. Boulanger was born March 18, 1937, in Waterbury, Conn. During the Korean War, he served in the Army. He married Bonne Helleene Macy, who died in 1987. They were the original owners of the Ponderosa Retirement Ranch. Survivors include five children, Kim White of Oregon City, Hope Sonney of Grants Pass, Heather Christian of Murphy, Thomas Boulanger Jr. of Tacoma, Wash., and Bonne Anson of Vancouver, Wash.; a brother, Donald Boulanger of McDonough, Ga.; two sisters, Janice Dow of Colorado, and PattyAnne Kell of San Diego; 17 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
