Terry Thurn

Terry “The Jester” Wayne Thurn, 53 of Grants Pass passed away Friday, March 6, 2009 at Royale Gardens Health and Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass, Oregon No services are planned Terry was born on September 24, 1955 in Albany, Georgia to Wayne and Evelyn Thurn. Terry’s schooling included Sturgis, S.D., Wichita Falls, Texas, Taipei, Taiwan, Big Springs, Texas and Grants Pass, Oregon. He worked in Reno, Nevada for years before settling in Crescent City, Calf where he spent most of his life until moving to Grants Pass in February of this year. Terry enjoyed the simple pleasures, friends, family, animals, music and he enjoyed sitting and reflecting on life at the ocean. Survivors include two daughters, Monica and Laurie Thurn of Crescent City, CA; son, Michael Thomas of Crescent City, CA; mother, Evelyn Thurn of Grants Pass and his sister Laurie Thurn-Buker of Grants Pass; two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father Wayne Thurn.
