Terry Douglas Smith, 51, of Grants Pass died Monday, June 9, 2008, in Grants Pass A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, June 12, 2008, 7:00PM at the Josephine County Fairgrounds Flower Building with Pastor Ken Bern Officiating. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Grants Pass YMCA. Terry was born on August 6, 1956 in Grants Pass to Joseph and Birdell Smith. Terry attended school in Grants Pass graduating from Grants Pass High School in 1974. Terry worked for Timber Products (Tim Ply), Southern Oregon Plywood and most recently Josephine County Public Works. He loved wild life, weight lifting and coin collecting. Survivors include his father and mother, Joseph and Birdell Smith of Grants Pass; two sons, Caleb Smith of Williams and Jacob Smith of Grants Pass; sister, Kathy Clark of Grants Pass.
