Master SGT Terry L. Hildebrand of Williams, OR, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his parents' home. Master SGT Terry was a true patriotic American Soldier. His 24 years of dedicated service awarded him many medals and Certificates of Achievements ranking from Paratrooper, Drill SGT, First Staff SGT, to Commanding Officer. Terry retired in Feb. of 1993 and moved to Williams, OR. He was a true outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting and quad riding in the Oregon mountains utilizing his army skills. This true American Hero, loved his camo and having fun with his family, friends and being the "life of the party." Terry is survived by his one daughter, Brandy Hildebrand of Barstow, CA; a son, Terry LaVern of Fort Banning, GA; parents LaVern and LaVonne of Williams, OR; one sister, Dixie (Steve) Forbes of Springhill, FL; two brothers, Larry of Williams, OR and Perry (Teri) of Carson, CA; four grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Leroy and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Visitation will be Wed. and Thurs. from 1-5 p.m. at Stephens Family Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Ken Bern officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at 1 p.m. at Eagle Point National Cemetery.
