Terri Lynn Quiroz

Terri Lynn Newsom, 59 of Grants Pass passed away on Monday, May 26, 2014 at Asante 3 Rivers Hospital. Arrangements by Stephens Family Chapel, Grants Pass, Oregon. Terri was born on September 22, 1954 in Crescent City, California to Charles and Maxine Newsom. She spend time growing up in California, Washington and Oregon with her family. Terri spent the majority of her adult life in Grants Pass. Her granddaughter Heylea was her pride and joy. Terri looked forward to the weekends when she got to see her. She was married by common law to Grant Guim and they happily spent the past 14 years together. Terri ran a printing press in San Jose, California and also worked at The Redwood Motel in Grants Pass. She loved gardening and liked collecting colored toilets to line her yard with, and talked with people who stopped to take pictures of them. Survivors include her husband, Grant Guim of Grants Pass, OR; mother, Maxine Newsom of Grants Pass, OR; daughter, Jessica Williams of Grants Pass, OR; sister, Cathy DeSolminihac of Santa Maria, CA; brother, Kip Newsom of Grants Pass, OR; and 3 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Newsom of Grants Pass, OR on March 15, 2008.
