Sue Diane Jines, 68, of Cave Junction, died Jan. 10, 2011 at Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass. A service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2400 Laurel Rd. in Cave Junction. Sue was born to Joe & Emma Mead, of Long Beach, Calif. on July 26, 1942. On Oct. 13, 1962 in San Bernardino, Calif., she married Virgil Jines, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass in 1967, and to Cave Junction in 1972. She was a member of the Cave Junction congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed making custom lampshades, ceramics and stained glass. For several years she sold her custom lampshades and gift items from her store, Special Productions. She also enjoyed going out for dinner and a movie, or talking about ministry. In addition to her husband, survivors included a daughter, Tracie Read, of Grants Pass; and a brother, Raymond Mead, of Sparks, Nev.
