Stevyn Christopher Engle

Stevyn Christopher Engle, 22 of Grants Pass passed away January 3, 2012 as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Private services have been held. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to River Valley Community Church Stevyn Engle Memorial Fund: 420 NE 7th Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526. He was born on April 14, 1989 in Ukiah, California to Darren and Susan Engle. In 1991 they moved to Grants Pass where the family made their home until 1995 when the moved to Mt. Shasta, California. In 2001 the family returned to Grants Pass and Stevyn attended local schools. He graduated from Grants Pass High School in 2007. He continued his education at Umpqua Community College and Rogue Community College. Stevyn worked for a verity of employers around southern Oregon, Rough & Ready Lumber, Wild River Brewery, and Rogue Valley Door. He also spent some time in Alaska where he commercial fished and Canada where he worked on a passenger train. Stevyn enjoyed being outdoors camping, fishing, scuba diving, skydiving and spending time with his family. His passion was helping people. Stevyn helped victims in Louisiana after Katrina and spent time in Los Angeles with disaster relief after the fires. In addition to his parents survivors include two brothers Brian Engle of Modesto, CA and Camryn Engle of Grants Pass; Grandparents William & Peggy Engle of Shingletown, CA, Grandma Ethel Nichols or Redding, CA; four uncles, two aunts And numerous cousins.
