Shirley Pratton

Shirley Jean Pratton, 81 of Grants Pass passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at her home in Grants Pass, Oregon. Shirley was born on March 6, 1932 in Portland, Oregon to George and Lena Robison. She graduated from Sacramento City College as an X-Ray Technician and worked for Grants Pass Clinic for many years. Shirley enjoyed spending time with her family, her dog Cory, reading, as well as traveling & RVing, She was involved in Eastern Star, P.E.O., Sweet Adelines, and the AAUW. She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church and sang in the church choir both at St. Anne's and Bethany Presbyterian Church. Shirley volunteered through P.E.O. as well as for March of Dimes, where she was a former Chairperson of the San Francisco Bay Area. Survivors include her daughters, Janice L. Olson of Williams, Oregon and Barbara G. Webb of Grants Pass, Oregon; son, Bruce D. Parsons of Grants Pass, Oregon, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Orville Pratton; daughter, Gail Parsons, and brother, George Robison Jr.
