Sharon Ann Nickels, 65, of Grants Pass died Thursday, June 24, 2010, at her home. No services are planned. Nickels was born March 5, 1945, in Oakland, Calif., to Clarence and Elenor Souza. For many years she worked in the plastic industry as a training instructor. On Sept. 10, 1989, in Reno, she married Billy Nickels, who survives. They moved to Grants Pass in 2005 from San Lorenzo, Calif. She enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Acevedo of Concord, Calif., and Kathy Aguilar of Grants Pass; two sons, Tom Key of San Leandro, Calif., and Tim Reihs of Grants Pass; a stepdaughter, Rhonda Parker of San Leandro, Calif.; two brothers, Jim Souza of Grants Pass, and Emory Souza of Hillsboro; two sisters, Louise Souza of Grants Pass, and MaryAnn Kenkel of Elk Grove, Calif.; and 14 grandchildren.
