Sharon Marie Moore

Sharon Marie Moore, 67, of Grants Pass died Friday, Jan. 9, 2009, at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford from injuries sustained in a vehicle crash. Services will be held on Saturday, January 24th, 11:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel Contributions may be made to the Rogue Valley Humane Society, 429 N.W. Scenic Drive, Grants Pass, OR 97526. Sharon was born on May 21, 1941 in Lansing, Michigan to Clinton and Doris Walton. She married Dick Schandoney in 1959 in Lompoc, California. Together they had four children, they later divorced in 1981. They moved to the Rogue Valley in 1971 from San Fernando, California. Sharon loved to working in her yard gardening, crocheting, planning family gatherings, camping, feeding the birds and deer and spending time with family & friends. She loved spending time with her three dogs and one bird. She will be remembered by all those who new her as kind and beautiful person who loved her family and friends with her smile and sense of humor that made everyone happy. Survivors include a son Richard Schandoney of Jacksonville; three daughters, Pam VanDusen, Sherry Whaley and “Lulu” Julie Jones all of Grants Pass; Significant other Tom Delany of Grants Pass; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her Father, Mother a brother Richard and sister Betty.
