Scott Edward Daugherty

Scott Edward Daugherty, 64, returned to his creator on the 30th of December 2022 as he slept peacefully next to his wife, Alissa Chotia, in Grants Pass, Oregon. He is also survived by his children, Jacob Daugherty (son) and wife Alisha Daugherty, Sydnee Daugherty (daughter) and fiancé Chris Fasano, and siblings, Greg Daugherty, Becky Brown, and spouse Laura "Alissa" Chotia.

Scott accomplished much in his 64 years with us as an award-winning painter for specialty items. His creativity was highly sought after, especially on TV shows, vehicles, and accessories. Those who were fortunate enough to know him shared an admiration for his passion. Passion for life, his wife, children, loved ones, and friends; Scott was the one we wanted in our corner through life's ups and downs. His loyalty and compassion knew no limits. He was the first one to reach into his pocket for charity and expected that from others. His fierce protection sheltered many of us from the harsher sides of life. He bore the brunt of those burdens more than once for many of us.
We celebrate his life as he soars back home with his mother. Resting with certainty, he will be among those who have fallen asleep in Christ.

"Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." I Thessalonians 4:13-14
