Rudy Arevalo, 85, of Grants Pass died Tuesday, November 26, 2019 peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving wife Gerry, his sister Janet, and his mother-in-law Dorothy.

There will be a public viewing at Stephens Family Chapel on Friday, December 6th from 4:00 PM – 7:00PM. A service will be held Saturday December 7th at 11:00 AM at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Grants Pass.

The fourth of seven children, he was born February 2nd, 1934 in Chicago, IL to Jose and Dominga Arevalo. Rudy and his wife Gerry moved to Grants Pass in 1999.

Survivors include his wife Gerry, his sister Janet Villagomez, his brother Raymond, his mother-in-law Dorothy Amate, his step-daughter Tammie Nissen, and his daughters Dianne Arevalo, Sofia Gunter, Regina Poplawski, and sons Rick Scoglio, Rudy Arevalo Jr, Randy Arevalo, Chistopher Arevalo along with 21 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Mary, Virginia, Esther and brother Jesse, his father-in-law Andrew Amate, his brother-in-law Robert Amate, and his great granddaughter Natalia Ramirez.
