Rose Ann Wright

November 14, 1942 — September 23, 2019

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Ann Wright, 76, of Grants Pass, Oregon on September 23, 2019. Rose was born in White City, Oregon on November 14, 1942. She would later move to Grants Pass where she spent her childhood. It was here that she spent time at her Grandparent’s ranch, and where she would also spend time with her aunt Mary, whom she was close to. On August 10 of 1960, Rose married her loving husband, Allen F. Wright, at the Church of Christ in Grants Pass. She was active in PTA while her children were in school. She loved knitting, crafting, and bowling. She helped support the family by working for “Blind George’s News Stand” and Wal-mart. She earned her GED, and was diligently working toward her Medical Transcription Degree. Rose is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Wright, who passed on June 12, 2001, parents, Elsworth & Elanor Ring, sister Linda J. Harris, and father Archie Harris who passed at young age in WWII. She is survived by her sisters Katherine Simmons & Pam Stratton, brother Edward Ring, and four daughters, Sally Hawkins, Debra Scroggs, Susan Smith, and Kathleen Speaker. She was also a very proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and great-grandmother to 5 great-grandchildren. Rose was so very loved, appreciated, and adored. She will be deeply missed.
