Robert A. Wickey

Robert Wickey, 85, of Grants Pass passed away July 18, 2011 at the Home on the Rogue Adult Foster Care in Grants Pass. He was born on May 31, 1926 in Miller South Dakota to Robert F. Wickey and Johanna (Bonk) Wickey. The family moved to Los Angeles, California. He joined the United States Nay during WWII and was honorable discharges in 1946. In 1948 he married Mary Ann Martin, they opened a floor maintenance company together in Glendale, California from which they retired in 1990 and moved to Grants Pass in 1991. For several years he was a member of River Valley Community Church then attended Calvary Crossroads Church. He also enjoyed membership in Golden Eagle Kiwanis. He and Ann belonged to the Good Sam RV club and traveled to many areas with them as well as traveling with other friends. Bob enjoyed spectator sports. Survivors include a son Clifford Wickey of Ontario, CA; daughter Janice Striano of Big Bear, CA; stepdaughter Debbie Bond of Grants Pass; stepson Dale McIntire of Florida; 11 grandchildren. His wife Ann of 51 years passed away in 2010. No services are planned
