Robert Simpson

Robert “Bob” Simpson, 79, of Rogue River died Saturday, July 31, 2010, at his home. Services will be held Friday, August 6th, 11:00AM at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church with Randel Livingood, Pastor officiating. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Robert Simpson Memorial 224 NW D Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 975276 or Lovejoy Hospice 939 SE 8th Street, Grants Pass, Oregon 97526 He was born on February 3, 1931 in Wiggins, Mississippi to Robert and Laura Simpson. Robert retired from the Air Force in 1976 after 20 years of service, three of those years were in the Army. Robert worked for Fresno Irrigation District in California for 12 years. Robert’s hobbies were golfing, fishing, bridge and prospecting for gold. He is survived by his wife Sharon Simpson of Rogue River; daughters, Laura Jiminez of El Monte, CA; Sue Randolph of Clovis, CA; Carol Ehoff of Kingsburg, CA and Laura Neal of Lemoore, CA; sister, Martha Suderman of Madera, CA; 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
