Robert Kevin Rae, 46, of Grants Pass died Friday, June 20, 2008, at his home. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date. Interment will be at Memory Gardens in Medford. Rae was born Dec. 16, 1961, in Medford. In 1962, his family moved to Grants Pass, where he attended Lincoln Elementary and North Middle schools and graduated from Grants Pass High School in 1981. He lived and worked in Portland for several years before moving back to Grants Pass to care for his father. He enjoyed music. He was an accomplished drummer and had played in bands since he was a teenager. He most recently played in local clubs and at gatherings with the band Blind and Crazy, with Marlin "Junior" Delzell and Brett Claytor. Survivors include his father, Robert E. Rae of Grants Pass; his mother and stepfather, Bertha and Richard Mobley of Tigard; three sisters, Gina Holmes of Grants Pass, Julie Lacambra of Portland, and Pamela Rae of Tigard; a stepbrother, Marty Mobley of Port Orchard, Wash.; and a stepsister, Teri Zwang of Puyallup, Wash.
