Robert Lee Mercer

Robert Lee Mercer, 78, of Grants Pass passed away March 22, 2011 at Rogue Valley Medical Center in Medford, Oregon. Private Family services will be held at a later date. Interment with Military Honors at Eagle Point National Cemetery. He was born on July 3, 1932 in New Martinsville, West Virginia to William and Elisa Mercer. Robert served n the United States Air Force. On October 23, 1972 in El Centro, California he married Barbara Jean Parker. Together they moved from Santa Barbara, California to Grants Pass in 1976 where they started Lil'O Pool Repair, which is still in operation today. Robert was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed Making Love, camping, BBQ, NASCAR racing, riding his lawnmower and watching the wildlife in his back yard. In addition to his wife survivors include his daughter Karen Kendrick of Grants Pass; five sons, Kary Cragg of Joshua Tree, CA, Kenny Cragg and Kipper Cragg both of Grants Pass, Steve Mercer and Lee Mercer both of Santa Barbara, CA; sister Betty Herrick of New Martinsville, WV; His son Korey Cragg preceded him in death in 2005.
