Robert Kuykendall

Robert Kuykendall, 46, of Grants Pass passed away Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2007, at his home. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stephens Family Chapel. Contributions may be made to HASL, Parkway Professional Building, 305 N.E. E St., Grants Pass, OR 97526. Kuykendall was born June 8, 1961, in Van Nuys, Calif. He attended high school in San Fernando, Calif. Ten years ago, he moved to Grants Pass from California. He enjoyed playing wheelchair basketball and was a member of the Rolling Rogues basketball team. He also enjoyed racing in his wheelchair, working with his hands and creating wood scrolls. Survivors include his father, Robert Kuykendall Sr. of Grants Pass; his mother, Rose Marie Steen of Hendersonville, N.C.; a sister, Susan Nolan of Grants Pass; and two brothers, Steven Kuykendall of Castaic, Calif., and Sean Kuykendall of Acton, Calif.
