Richard A. (Dick) Traugh passed away peacefully at his home in Grants Pass on Tuesday, February 21, 2023. Dick was born December 26, 1929 in Wheeling, WV.
A devout Christian and proud Korean War veteran, Dick was a wheeler-dealer and lifelong collector.
Survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Wilma Traugh; son, Richard Traugh, Jr. (Beverly); daughters, Theresa Gantz (Kevin), Gina Wilson (Brent), and Stephenie Wilson; grandchildren, Bill Williams, Wendy Buford, Tia Dowden (John), Zachary Tull (Julie), Victoria Lehr (John), Shawn Worthington (Marjorie), Clifford Traugh (Melissa), Courtney Traugh (Sam), and Callie Terrell (Casey); thirteen great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren; he also leaves behind brothers Don Traugh and Jerry Traugh.
Dick was preceded in death by daughter, Deana Worthington; grandson, DeWayne Upton; his mother, Nellie Traugh; sister, Bettie Schmidgall; and brother, Howard Traugh.
A celebration of life will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery on March 13, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, Dick’s family would welcome donations in his honor to the Gospel Rescue Mission, 540 SW Foundry Street Grants Pass, OR 97526.
