Richard Davison

Richard Davison, 71, of Grants Pass passed away Friday, March 7, 2008, at Three Rivers Community Hospital in Grants Pass. Private Family Services Richard was born on September 3, 1936 in Oberlin, Kansas to Robert and Dorothy Davison. His family moved to Oregon from California when Richard was 16 years of age. He served in the US Army 82 Airborne from March 16, 1954 until his honorable discharge on November 26, 1956. Richard work for over 30 years as a timber faller. In 1989 he moved to Grants Pass from Klamath Falls. Richard married Karen Wessels on October 5, 1991 in Grants Pass. He enjoyed building fine wood furniture and worked on computers. Survivors include his wife Karen of Grants Pass; five daughters, Angela Mitchell, Debra Stoy, Kimberly Beatty, Pamela Tena and Christina Bliss all of Eugene, Oregon; step-daughter Sonja Warren of Medford; step-son Stuart Wessels of Grants Pass; two sisters, Ruth St. John of Medford and Jeanne Absher of Texas; 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
