Richard Lee Alberts Sr.

Richard Lee Alberts Sr., 76, of Grants Pass died Nov. 18, 2008, at his home. No services are planned. He was born March 31, 1932, in Minnesota to Bert and Maxine Alberts. He served in the Navy in the time between World War II and the Korean War. In 1965, he moved to Grants Pass from Eugene. He worked for Southern Oregon Plywood for 23 years. He enjoyed crabbing and fishing in Winchester Bay, seashell art and seashell collecting. Survivors include two children, four brothers and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
