Renald "Renny" John Gruber, 74, of Grants Pass passed away March 31, 2011 at his residence in Grants Pass. Services will be held Wednesday, April 6th, 11:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel with Deacon Bob Chapin of St. Anne Perish officiating. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Eagle Point National Cemetery. He was born on February 18, 1937 in Weed, California to Emil and Esther Gruber. He graduated from Weed High School in 1956. On November 9, 1956 he entered into the United States Air Force and served until his honorable discharge on January 24, 1961. In 1962 he moved from Weed, California to Grants Pass. Renny worked for many years in the lumber industry working for Bates Lumber, Southern Oregon Plywood and Timber Products, he retired in 2002. On August 24, 1984 he married Constance "Connie" Gomez in Grants Pass. Renny enjoyed stamp collecting, gardening, bingo and watching golf on TV. In addition to his wife Connie survivors include his son Alan Gruber of Medford; sister Jean Copeland of Granada, California and his twin brother Ronald Gruber of Merlin, Oregon
