Raymond M. Luna, 81, of Grants Pass passed away Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, 1:00 PM at Eagle Point National Cemetery with Father Gregory Moys of St. Anneâs Catholic Church Presiding. Raymond was born on December 17, 1926 in Alpaugh, California to Rosailo and Josefina Luna. He married Virginia Avila on January 9, 1945 in Reno Nevada. Raymond entered the US Army during WWII on March 13, 1945 and was honorably discharged on October 12, 1946. Raymond and Virginia moved to Grants Pass in 1991 from California. Raymond loved animals and volunteering with law enforcement organizations. He was a member of St. Anneâs Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife Virginia of Grants Pass; two sons, Raymond Luna Jr. of Grants Pass and Ernie Luna of Myrtle Creek, Oregon; four brothers; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
