Ray H. Elliott

Ray H. Elliott, 86, of Grants Pass died at Fair View Transitional Health Center on March 4, 2011. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, March 19th 1:00 PM at the Grants Pass Elks Lodge #1584. Ray was born on October 24, 1924 in Silverton, Oregon to Hubert and Emma Elliott. He graduated from Silverton Union High School in 1943. Ray then served in the United States Navy during WWII. He worked as an Electrician for most of his life. He enjoyed bowling, playing pool, dance clubs, gardening, articulate woodworking. Ray loved being active. Ray was a member of the Grants Pass Elks and Eagles. Survivors include his son Rex & Terri Elliott of Grants Pass; nephew Steve & Shelly Overall of Springfield, Oregon; nephew Barry & Debbie Overall of Eugene, Oregon; Special Companion Ellie; five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. His Daughter Colleen Hammond and sister Vala Overall preceded him in death
