Phyllis Allene Hill

Phyllis Allene Hill, 80 of Gold Hill passed away Sunday, October 9, 2011 at her home. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, 11:00 AM at Valley Rogue Christian Center 520 E. Main Street, Rogue River with Pastor Bill Donaldson officiating. Private Interment will be held at Eagle Point National Cemetery. Contributions: Valley Rogue Christian Center, 520 E. Main Street, Rogue River, Oregon 97537. She was born on October 16, 1930 in Eugene, Oregon to Homer and Grace Chase. Phyllis married George Warren Hill on April 25, 1952 in Springfield, Oregon. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2008. She was raised in Eugene then lived in Washington, California, Florida and retiring in Gold Hill, Oregon in 1993. She had a 40-year career in banking and retired as a Vice President at First Marine Bank of Riviera Beach, Florida. She loved teaching her Bible class at church and her flower garden. Survivors include her daughter Julie A. Ibrahim of Gold Hill and George R. Hill of Camarillo, California, four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
