Patty Dawn Williamson, 74, of Glendale died Sunday, March 2, 2008, at Rose Haven Nursing Center in Roseburg. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at Glendale Assembly of God. A funeral service will begin at 2 p.m., with Terry Bess, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow at Glendale Memorial Cemetery. Williamson was born April 4, 1933, in Alliance, Ohio, to Alonzo and Ida Fotheringham. Her family moved to Glendale in 1939. She graduated from Glendale High School in 1950 and attended Southern Oregon College (now Southern Oregon University) for a year. On Oct. 10, 1952, in Reno, she married Dave Williamson, who died in January 2004. She worked for Glendale School District for 35 years before retiring in 1997. She was a member of Glendale Assembly of God. She enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, crocheting and spending time with her family. Survivors include a son, Brad Williamson of Glendale; a daughter, Barbara Trinidad of Grants Pass; a brother; two sisters; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A granddaughter, Rochelle Foster, died in October 1970.
