Patty Sue Donnelly, 60, of Grants Pass died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at her home. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Stephens Family Chapel, with Ken Bern, pastor, officiating. Contributions may be made to Relay For Life of Josephine County, P.O. Box 235, Grants Pass, OR 97528. She was born Feb. 12, 1948, in Pensacola, Fla., to Harry and Doris Donnelly. She worked as a waitress for more than 40 years. In 1991, she moved to Grants Pass from Alpine, Calif. In the early 1990s, she returned to school and earned a degree in human services from Rogue Community College. She enjoyed working with the elderly and autistic children. She also enjoyed crocheting, quilting, cooking, gardening, being out in the woods, jewelry, and spending time with her children, grandchildren and friends. In addition to her husband, Tim Von Pinnon, survivors include a daughter, Summer McLean of Grants Pass; a stepson, Cory Von Pinnon of Reno; a brother, Dennis Donnelly of Grants Pass; and three grandchildren.
