Patricia Ann Garcia

Patricia Ann Garcia, 55 of Grants Pass passed away on May 12, 2014 at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. Celebration of life will be held Tuesday, May 20th 11:00 A.M. at Stephens Family Chapel. Patricia was born in April 5, 1959 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to James & Kathy Garcia. When her father passed away at an early age, she was raised by her step-father, Avron Gershen. She lived in San Fernando Valley for most of her childhood and graduated from Canoga Park High School. Later on she moved to Oregon with her two daughters, Kandice and Tara. She attended Edgewater Christian Fellowship. Patricia loved laughing, dancing, camping, spending time with kids and grandkids. She loved people and her heart was bigger than life. She was a giver and was filled with loving God's people. Survivors include daughters, Kandice Thomas of Grants Pass, OR and Tara Villalta of Grants Pass, OR; mother, Kathy Gershen of Grants Pass, OR; sisters, Gloria Garcia of Grants Pass, OR and Suz Montemayor of Rogue River, OR; brother, James Garcia of Sacramento, CA and 7 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by father, James E. Garcia on September 3, 1985 and step-father Avron Gershen on August 5, 2011.
