Patricia “Pat” Mary Latimer, age 64 of Grants Pass, past away at her home surrounded by her best friend and loving husband Bob Latimer, her daughter & son-in-law Tim and Gina McConnell, and 2 of her grandchildren Michael and Margaret-Mary MacLauchlin, along with her beloved stray animals, after a 3 month battle with renal cell carcinoma Services will be held Friday September 5th at 1:00 p.m. at Stephens Family Chapel with Monsignor Gregory Moys presiding. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Grants Pass Patricia was born in Los Angeles, California on April 4, 1944 by parents who adored her. Her parents worked hard to have her attended a private catholic school, Bellarmine Jefferson High School in Burbank Ca. Where she graduated from in 1962. After High School she was married and had 3 children. In 1976 she subsequently met and married the true love of her life Bob Latimer, giving them a total of 8 children. She became a housewife and was able to pursue some of her hobbies and great talents, oil painting, crafting and gardening. She and her husband also restored a 1930 Model A, and became active members of an antique car club. In 1982 her husband broke his back in an accident at work. Pat then took her passion of crafting and started up a craft manufacturing wholesale and retail business. In 1993 Pat and her family decided to move to Grants Pass, Oregon where she continued her business up until about a year before her death. She will be remembered by her family and friends, as a devoted wife, very loving mother, grandmother, and for her kindness, caring, and giving ways. Survivors include her loving husband of 32 years, Bob Latimer, their 7 children, 14 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren
