Orland L. Green

Orland L. Green, 86 of Grants Pass passed away Friday, November 14, 2014 at his home. Celebration of life will be held Saturday, 10:00 AM November 22, 2014 at Jerome Prairie Bible Church with Pastor James Downing officiating. He was born on January 12, 1928 in Pomona, California to Hershall and Inez Green. Orland grew up in Amarillo, Texas. He joined the US Navy in 1944 and fought in the Pacific Theater during WW. He married Lynn Thornton in 1975 in Centralia, Washington. Orland drove truck for Rough and Ready Lumber Co and was a 70-year member of the American Legion. Orland loved spending time with his family and enjoyed woodworking. In addition to his wife survivors include three daughters Debbie Dunkle of Grants Pass, Trini Harris of Graham, WA and Tiffany Sandquist of Grants Pass; Sister Charlotte Richel of Boise, Idaho and two granddaughters He was preceded in death by his sister JoAnn Hall.
