Norman Ellis

Norman Horsley Ellis, 69, of Grants Pass passed away May 22, 2012 at his home. Norman was born October 25, 1942 in Reno, Nevada to Robert and Edith Ellis. He graduated from Gervais High School in Gervais Oregon. Norman served in the United States Air Force retiring after 21 years. He worked for Lockheed, Signetis Pharmacy Computer Services and Three Rivers Activity Bus Driver. He married Helen Clydesdale on April 2, 1963 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Norman and Helen moved to Grants Pass from Montague, California in the early 1990's. Norman was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed watching his grandkids play sports, reading, games, spending time with family and friends and watching Nevada sports teams play. In addition to his wife survivors include his daughter Kim & Gary Nakahama of Mountain View, CA; daughter Kelly & Leonard Busch of Grants Pass; son Norman C. & Mariana Ellis of Grants Pass; sister Edith R. Champagne of Hollister, CA; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; 10 grandchildren, Nathan, Karreen, Alex, Amanda, Katherine, Ashley, Steven, Nicole, James & Alexis. His parents and his brother Robert Ellis preceded him in death.
