Norman F. Ebel

Norman F. Ebel, 67, of Grants Pass passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008, at The Suites in Grants Pass. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, March 7th, 10:00 AM at Hillcrest memorial Park with Pastor Thomas Hirsch of St. Paul̢۪s Lutheran Church officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions: American Diabetes Research Norman was born on September 28, 1940 in Portland, Oregon to Fred and Estella Ebel. Over the years he owned and operated beauty shops in the Beaverton area. Norman served on the Oregon Cosmetology Board and the Royal Rosarians Ambassadors of Goodwill for the City of Roses. He married Margaret Maurer on June 1, 1991 in Bend, Oregon. Together they moved to Grants Pass from Bend in July 2003. He loved spending time visiting with friends and family and loved to travel in his motor home and spending time on the internet. Survivors include his wife Margaret of Grants Pass; Two sons, Tim Ebel of Dallas, Texas and Jeff Ebel of Vancouver, WA; Two step-daughters, Rhonda Bloom and Julee Prince of Yuba City, CA; Two step-sons, Mike Prince of Roseburg, OR and Mark Prince of Roseville, CA; 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
