Norma Lee Carmichael

Norma Lee Carmichael, 72 of Grants Pass died Thursday, December 30, 2010 at her home. Celebration of her life will be held Monday, January 3rd 1:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Ken Bern Officiating Contributions: American Heart Association Norma was born on December 4, 1938 in Kimball, Nebraska to Ernest and Mary Barrett. She attended High School in Kimball. On April 10, 1955 she married Jack Carmichael who survives. In the late 1960's they moved to Grants Pass from Cheyenne, Wyoming. Norma worked for 17 years for Bank of America and then most recently for Walgreens in Customer service for the past 5 years. Norma enjoyed scrapbooking, ceramics, traveling and spending time with family and friends. In addition to her husband she is survived by her son Terry Carmichael of Grants Pass and her daughter Pam Waxlax of La Quinta, CA; niece Betty Hamsey of Sacramento, CA; 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Steve Carmichael in 1986.
