Nancy Lynn Gunderson

Nancy Lynn Gunderson, 59, of Grants Pass passed away Sunday, March 29, 2009, at her residence in Grants Pass. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, April 6th, 11:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Ken Bern officiating. Nancy was born on April 2, 1949 in Los Angeles, California to Edward & Shirley Hornecker. Nancy moved to the Rogue Valley in 1987. She received her Bachelors degree in education from Southern Oregon University in 2004 and had been recently working towards her Masters Degree. Nancy enjoyed volunteering for the Rogue River School District and local child advocate organizations. She owned and operated Nancy̢۪s Day Care. Nancy loved gardening, sewing, traveling, remodeling homes, cats and kids. Survivors include two daughters, Deeanna Gunderson of Brooklyn, NY and Jenna Gunderson of Prineville, OR; sister, Judy Miller of Grants Pass and a niece Terri Forney of Grants Pass.
