Muriel Ernestine Crocker, 97 of Grants Pass passed away on Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Fair View Transitional Health Center in Grants Pass. There will be a family celebration of life. Arrangements by Stephens Family Chapel, Grants Pass, Oregon. Muriel was born on November 17, 1916 in Brunswick, Maine to Ernest and Eva Mayberry. She moved to Burbank, California as a young girl and graduated Burbank High School in June of 1934. She married Charles Kelly and they moved to Grants Pass in 1934. They bought a home in the Fruitdale area and raised 4 children in Grants Pass. She married Bob Crocker in 1974 and they lived near her daughter Carol and son-in-law Art in Susanville and Red Bluff, California before moving back to Grants Pass in 2000. She attended River Valley Community Church. She enjoyed camping, dancing, cards, table games, scrapbooking and photography. Survivors include sons, Larry Kelly of Etna, California and Russell Kelly of Greenville, South Carolina; daughter, Carol Kelly Conger of Grants Pass, Oregon; 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Lyle Kelly and husbands, Bob Crocker and Charles Kelly.
