Mozelle Pittman

Mozelle Pittman, 87, of Grants Pass passed away Monday, May 25, 2009, at Highland House Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 29th, 1:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Marvin Clark or the Grants Pass Seventh-day Adventist Church officiating. Mozelle was born Vera Mozelle Grey on August 4, 1921 in Caddo, Texas to Jack and Jesse Grey. She married Floyd Woodrow Pittman on October 15, 1938 in Mineral Wells, Texas. Mozelle worked for General Dynamics in Pomona, California for 15 years. Mozelle and Floyd moved to Grants Pass in 1985. She enjoyed cross stitch, sewing, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren and family. She was a member of the Tops Club of Merlin. In addition to her husband survivors include her son Tom Pittman of Grants Pass; Daughter, Sandy Page of Grants Pass; Brother, Jerry Moss of Grants Pass; Four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Grey, Leon Moss, Chester Moss, Gayle Mason and Mattie Wishman.
