Mildred D. Brown

Mildred D. Brown, 90 of Grants Pass, passed away Friday, August 3, 2007 at Royale Gardens Health & Rehabilitation Center in Grants Pass, Oregon. Private Family Services will be held at a later date. Mildred was born on October 27, 1916 in Astoria, Oregon to Olaf & Hilma Fellman. She married Harold Hushbeck in Tillamook, Oregon in 1934, he preceded her in death in 1984. Through the years Mildred was a dairy farmer and worked at the Tillamook Cheese Factory. She lived in Tillamook County until 1996 when she moved to Brookings, Oregon. Mildred married Donald Brown in 2001 in Brookings. Together they moved to Grants Pass in 2001. Donald passed away in 2003. Mildred was a member of the Tillamook County Pioneer Association, Moose Lodge #1260, Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Rebekah Lodge all in Tillamook. Mildred enjoyed playing cribbage, trout fishing and dancing. She is survived by her Son, Stan Hushbeck of Grants Pass; Son Ralph Hushbeck of Pahrump, NV; Daughter, Carol Lee Hushbeck of Albany, OR; Niece, Lusa Fellman-Paul of Helsinki Finland; Seven Grandchildren; Six Great-Grandchildren and Two Great Great Grandchildren.
