Mickie E. Norris

Mickie E. Norris, 87, of Grants Pass passed away November 3, 2011 at her home. She was born on June 13, 1924 in Wilmington, California to James and Elsie Book. On May 17, 1941 in Yuma, Arizona she married John Norris who survives. Mickie worked for Olympic Fastening Systems as an Inspector for 20 years retiring in the mid 1970's. Together they moved to Beaver, Oregon from Downey, CA in 1978 where they lived until 2003 when they moved to Grants Pass. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, cooking, reading, traveling, card games and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Ladies of the Elks and the Bridge Club in Grants Pass. In addition to her husband her daughter Kathleen Clement of White City, five grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren survive her. Two children daughter Pat Monohan in 2003 and son John Lee Norris preceded her in death in 1971.
