Michaela (Mickey) Cecile Turner, 63 of Grants Pass passed away December 22, 2012 in Williams, California. A celebration of life will be held on January 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM at River Valley Church with a potluck reception to follow at Faith Orthodox Presbyterian Church. Contributions in lieu of flowers; Mickey Turner Memorial Fund at any South Valley Bank location. Mickey was born on September 2, 1949 in Spokane, Washington to Ted and Della Crowley. She graduated from Gillcrest High School and went on to college at Prairie Bible College. On November 15, 1969 she married James (Jim) Turner in Crescent, Oregon. She and her husband moved to Oregon in November of 1986 from Auburn, California with their four children. Mickey enjoyed cooking, memorizing scripture, hunting, fishing and shopping. She took special interests in quilting, entertaining and her grandchildren. She was a member of Applegate Community Church and the director of the Crowley Family Reunions. She was also a Field Editor for the Taste of Home cooking magazine. Above all else her desire was for the Lord Jesus Christ, her husband and her family. She loved unconditionally and was truly a woman after God's own heart. In addition to her husband survivors include, daughter, Tami and Jay Dougherty of The Woodlands, Texas; son, Scott Turner of Grants Pass, Oregon; daughter, Amy and Kody Fields of Lakeland, Georgia; daughter, Anne Turner of Grants Pass, Oregon; Stepfather and mother, John and Della Bradley of Grants Pass, Oregon; brother, Ted and Larena Crowley of Klamath Falls, Oregon; brother Larry and Charlotte Crowley of Greshem, Oregon; brother, Mike and Dani Crowley of Eugene, Oregon; sister, Linda and Lloyd Young of Lewisville, Texas and Linda Mcgee of Las Vegas, Nevada; 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
