Michael Likens

Michael Keith Likens, 63 of Grants Pass passed away Sunday, October 25, 2009 at his home. A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, October 28th, 11:00 AM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Rick Gilmore of Rivers of Life Foursquare Church officiating. Michael was born on July 19, 1946 in Ironton, Ohio to Millerd and Genevive Likens. He served in the U.S. Navy. On December 15, 1979 in Ramona, California he married Donna Jean Young. Michael and Donna moved to Grants Pass from Georgia in 1987. Michael worked for over 30 years as a truck driver and 14 years for Masterbrand Cabinets. Michael attended Rivers of Life Foursquare Church in Grants Pass. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, cooking, camping, animals and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife survivors include three sons, Michael Likens II, Craig Likens and Eric Likens of Ohio; five daughters, Machele Barber of Ohio, Frankie Silvers of Grants Pass, Lori Davidson of Georgia, Tammy Rehwald of Florida and Wendy Goodpasture of Grants Pass; two sisters, Judith Spriggs and Sue Likens of Ohio; seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
