Michael William Fleming, 61, of Williams passed away February 2, 2010, at Rogue Valley Medical Center. No services are planned at this time. He was born on May 19, 1948 in Napa, California to Lewis and Gloria Fleming. Michael served in the US Army where he was wounded twice in the Vietnam War while serving with a tank battalion called âCharlie Companyâ and was a disabled veteran. He and his family moved to Williams in the early 1970âs. During a sever drought he formed the âFrogonian Clubâ to preserve water. For a long time it was broadcast over KGO Talk radio in San Francisco CA and had many thousands of members world wide. 18000 members gathered in San Rafael, CA for a fun packed rally. The rest of his life he was affectionately called âThe Frogmanâ In the late 1970âs he managed the Waterhole Restaurant in Murphy, Oregon. At a later date he became an EMT and worked for Lincare and finally for AMR ambulance service. He leaves behind his wife Roxie Fleming; son Michael Ryan Fleming; daughters Jareâ Fleming and Jazmine Fleming; mother Gloria Kutz; sister Charlene Santini; sister Lonna Poole; brother Lewis Fleming; step children Dennis and Jeanna Hart. He was preceded in death by his father and half brother Gary Beltz.
