Meredith Lyn Phelps

Lyn Phelps, 70 of Grants Pass passed away on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at her residence in Grants Pass. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 21st 10:00 AM at Jerome Prairie Bible Church. 2564 Walnut Avenue, Grants Pass, OR 97527. Please wear pink or purple in honor of Lyn. Arrangements by Stephens Family Chapel, Grants Pass, Oregon. Lyn was born on February 4, 1944 in Alameda, California to Richard and Helyn Clemensen. She grew up in the Oakland, California area. She attended Jerome Prairie Bible Church and taught Sunday school and children's church. She worked and volunteered at the OSU Extension Service for over 30 years. She was a 4-H leader and office manager. She enjoyed camping with her children and grandchildren and spending time with her many friends. Survivors include her daughters, Tammy Ball of Medford, OR and Stacy James of Grants Pass, OR; and 2 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helyn Thomas of Grants Pass, OR on October 25, 2010 and her father, Richard Clemensen of Oakland, CA on September 12, 1944.
