Mary Ellen "Stout" Rizzo, 98 years old, passed away on 12 Apr 2019 in Grants Pass, Oregon.
She was born 18 Nov 1920 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Her parents were Arthur Chester Stout and Bernice Dalia "Gardner" Stout, both born in Michigan. In 1940 Mary was attending Western State Teachers College. On 10 Aug 1946 she married Joseph Paul Rizzo in Kalamazoo, Michigan. They moved to Hartford, Connecticut for awhile before settling down in Long Beach, California. Mary worked as a Teacher and a telephone operator for General Telephone and then in their family store/deli which was owned by her and her husband.
Mary is preceded in death by both her parents and her only sister Esther Stout Clapp. She is survived by her son Dennis Paul Rizzo, her daughter Ruth JungJohann, several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
