Mark Shane Espy

Mark Shane Espy, 52, of Grants Pass died Monday, May 31, 2010, in Grants Pass. A celebration of his life will be held Sunday at 11 a.m. at Tussing Park. Mark was born on January 3, 1958 in Grants Pass to Fritz and Gaye Espy. He spent most of his life in Josephine County. As a young man he enjoyed motor cross racing, boxing and in later years he enjoyed hunting, snorkeling and floating the Rogue River in his kayak. He also enjoyed camping and family BBQ̢۪s. Mark took pride in telling a good joke and making people laugh. Mark leaves behind his son; Fritz Espy, Daughter, Misty Espy; step-son, Travis Van Delden; Step-son, Derek Van Delden; Ex-Wife Nancey Espy; Brother, Lance Espy; sisters Kathy Peirce and Stephanie Reeves all from Grants Pass; Six grandchildren and One great grandchild.
