Marie A. Behrle. 74 of Gold Hill passed away, Thursday October 18, 2012 at her residence in Gold Hill. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Stephens Family Chapel with Pastor Ken Bern Officiating. She was born on December 31, 1937 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania to Harry and Esther Snyder. She worked for many years as an assistant executive secretary. On May 8, 1976 in Chester, Pennsylvania she married Walter Behrle who survives. In May of 2012 they moved to southern Oregon from Hendersonville, NC. Marie enjoyed painting, needlework and gardening. In addition to her husband survivors include her step-son Walter "Neil Behrle of Gold Hill; son Richard Behrle of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; sister Ruth Snyder; three brothers Harry Snyder, Francis Snyder, Edward Snyder; eleven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
