Marian La Deanne Misfeldt

Marian La Deanne Misfeldt, 82, of Grants Pass died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at her home. Private family services will be held at a later date. Misfeldt was born Nov. 13, 1927, in Walnut, Iowa. She graduated high school in Modesto, Calif. On June 28, 1949, in Modesto, Calif., she married James Edward Misfeldt, who survives. She worked for Pacific Bell for more than 22 years as a directory assistance operator until she retired in 1983. She and her husband moved to Grants Pass from Reno in August 2009. She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing bridge, cooking and her family photos and mementos. In addition to her husband, survivors include a daughter, Susan Scoggins of Grants Pass; a son, Robert Misfeldt of Grants Pass; a brother, Donald Peterson of Modesto, Calif.; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
